About the IEEE GRSS UNICAMP Student Chapter
The IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) UNICAMP Student Chapter is a Brazilian student organization based at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), one of the leading research universities in Latin America.
Founded in 2010, the chapter is composed of undergraduate and graduate students from Geology and Geography, and is officially sponsored by the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society.
Our mission is to promote and support academic, technical and outreach activities related to remote sensing, geoprocessing, Earth observation and the dissemination of emerging technologies and information services, with a strong focus on applications relevant to Brazil and South America.

An interdisciplinary forum focused on Earth observation technologies and environmental monitoring, promoting discussions on current challenges and innovative solutions.

CPE Experience
The IEEE GRSS UNICAMP Student Chapter hosted the CPE Experience, an immersive hands-on event focused on advanced geotechnologies, in partnership with CPE Tecnologia.
Participants explored high-precision surveying and scanning technologies, including Terrestrial Laser Scanning, the SLAM RS10 handheld scanner, and the GNSS i93 system with integrated camera, with real-time visualization of spatial data and 3D models.
